Greg has acted for 50 years, professionally since 1968 and as a SAG member since 1970. He holds an honors degree in Speech & Theatre from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and was a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow nominee. Among those with whom he has studied are Robin Humphrey (one of the 13 original graduates of The New York Actors Studio, with Brando), Dana Elcar (founder of The LA Actors Theatre, perhaps best known for TV's "MacGyver") and Alexis Minotis (founder of The Greek National Theatre who appeared in such classic films as Alfred Hitchcock's "Notorious"). Greg is also a writer and one-time newspaper reporter whose focus was often entertainment (e.g., he supplied gags for Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show," and profiled many celebrities, from screen icons Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant and Gregory Peck to Ted "Dr. Seuss" Geisel, playwright Neil Simon and dancer/choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov, among others).
