Verve Studios is a boutique music and acting studio with locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona.
Verve Studios was created by Amanda Melby because she believes that there is an artist within every person. Her passion is finding that artist. She teaches and coaches in a nurturing, honest environment and offers a variety of private and group classes.
What sets Verve Studios apart from other studios in Arizona is that they are taught by Working, Professional (Union) Actors and teachers. Our coaches know technique and the business because they are working in it. They teach proven methods and techniques.
Verve coaches students to understand their technique so they can succeed in the business as well. The on-going structure of the Scene Study class is unique to this market and actors have benefitted greatly by this long-term approach. Just like you can't become a professional athlete in a 6-week summer camp, you can't become a working actor with a 6-week class either. Understanding your technique and process takes time and dedication and Verve classes will get you there.
Verve offers ACTING classes for Adults: Technique/Intro to Scene Study, On-going Scene Study Class, Personalization Workshop, TelePrompTer workshop, Commercial Intensives and Acting for the Camera.
Verve offers ACTING classes for Teens: Acting One, Acting Two, Film Acting, Film Acting Camp, Commercials and Character Development/Technique.
Verve offers private coaching/lessons in ACTING, VOICE (signing and voice over), and CELLO.
