Alexandria and I are the founders of Great Talents, LLC. We have been involved with Arizona's talent community for over 2 years. Although, I have to admit that I have been the "behind the scenes" guy while Alexandria has been the busy bee, err...person running around all over the place to get everyone together to share ideas and industry information by getting involved in Arizona's Community of Talents (ACT). We thank the instructors, casting directors, talent agencies, and everyone for their active involvement and support.
I've been a web developer for over 10 years and have experience in working with small to large size projects and companies. I enjoy the business world, specially start-ups, and creatively creating something that has a purpose that people find truly useful, especially if it's something that can help them personally. I enjoy photography on my spare time (which is hard to find lately) and love spending time with my family.
But, wait...you may be asking "How did you get involved in this industry?" I lived in Los Angeles, CA for 5 years and met numerous people in the entertainment. I moved to Phoenix in 2000 and never thought I would be around the same creative people again until I married my wife. As a Tae Kwon Do black belt and previous martial arts school owner and chief instructor, I had a vision and began creating a community for the martial artist. However, my support for Alexandria and her contagious energy and passion as an actor and community involvement in the industry channeled what I was working on for the martial arts community into the entertainment community. I have found that almost everyone in the entertainment industry has the same set of questions: How can people find me? How do I showcase my work professionally? Do I need a website? How can I get started or "break-in" the industry? Etc. So, we believe we have answered those questions and decided to provide the service nationally.
GreatTalents.com website was created from scratch--from conception to implementation. We are not a "canned" social network that is a part of some of social community umbrella website. We own and created the software and the data that runs GreatTalents.com. Because of this, we can take full advantage of creating anything we feel is needed to better serve our members.
