ABOUT US
World Community of Arts was founded in 1996 by Martin Zatarain in Tucson, Arizona. Since its founding, WCA's mission has been producing artistic and educational projects with the purpose of elevating the artistic and cultural concept of the Southwestern part of the United States. WCA's artistic productions have strong social, humanitarian, and spiritual content. Our productions reflect the unstoppable effort of raising awareness of all of the artistic community, as well as the participation and knowledge of artists of all cultures and nationalities. WCA is an open and plural organization where art is the main source of understanding in this globalized world, and WCA focuses on training actors for international projects. Also, techniques used at WCA are tailored to each actor's individual needs. WCA conducts workshops in the beautiful state of Arizona, where we enjoy 365 days of sunshine and are just a few hours drive from the film industry in Los Angeles, California. Workshops are held in the Phoenix Metro Area, as well as Tucson, Douglas, Nogales and Yuma. WCA instructors come from a lifetime artistic background.
