About Me
www.BlakeLaramie.com is updated regularly with current work & contact info.

Blake Laramie broke into the film scene in the Summer of 2000. He landed his first 5 auditions in a row, being cast in commercials such as Pepsi, Lexus & MTV. He quickly learned that film holds a much greater creative outlet and has been at it ever since. His work on independent films has been followed with a succession of roles in such films as "Soul Survivor", "Jones", the musical "Uncle Belfry", "Feral Instinct" & the long awaited release of "Angels, Devils & Men". He has also Won 3 Telly Awards for his work as Key Production Assistant in the trailer for "Running On Empty Dreams". He has been seen live on stage for rock concerts portraying a prison warden On Stilts for the "The Spider Hole" band. Blake will undoubtedly thrive in the film industry with his continued studies and a demand for challenging roles. He was told that being heavily tattooed would hinder his role opportunities. So far the only negative impact it has had was a Jimmy Eat World video where he had more tattoos than the band members & was obvious when auditioning in his underwear for "In The Middle". It also kept him from landing a modeling gig with Adidas Golf collection, but Blake has yet to remove any of his ink because they all remind him of positive events in his past. He does not like talking about modeling due to the stigma that follows.

Current:
(January 2011) He recently acted as the Absinthe Bartender in Jason Lehel's "Coyote Requiem". His real name was used with his role. Oddly enough he is an avid connoisseur of Absinthe & brought his own Absinthe fountain to the set to show authenticity for the scene and the mood.
